Sheri St. Claire (also known as Sheri St. Cloud and Cheri St. Clair) was born on April 17, 1957.
She entered to porn industry in 1983 at age 26 starring in the film
Back Door Girls and straight away went all out to give a full on performance in a film which, as you can tell from the title :), is focussed on anal sex. She was to become one of the most prolific porn stars of the 1980s, starring in film after film, with most of the major male porn actors. And although she was often cast as the inexperienced girl turned on to the world of porn for the first time, the scenes she played were often extremely hardcore, regularly featured anal sex, double penetration and facials,
as a list of all 194 of her films shows.
But as a porn actress, Sheri St Clair was not simply known for the niches she covered, she was also considered to be a powerful actress, filling the sreen with real passion and giving her films that extra touch which made them great.
Her performance with the legendary John Holmes in The Return Of Johnny Wadd is considered to be intensely arousing.
She played many lesbian scenes also and these were always very erotic and emotional. It was because of this that a lesbian film starring Sheri St Clair was always a sure fire success.
Sheri is therefore a very well-deserving member of the AVN Hall of Fame. She won "Best Actress in a Film" at the 1985 AVN Awards for her performance in
Corporate Assets (film's niches: anal, facial, bald), one of the last great blockbuster films of the days of classic porn film making.
She retired from the porn industry in 1992 and works today as an ordinary business woman, living in LA.
